Meet the jeweller and founder of Maria Julietta

At Maria Julietta the artisan herself, Paola Vaz a local to the Gadigal Land of the Eora Nation, a woman, mother of a 1 year old boy, Ohki who handcrafts your unique and made-to-order jewellery, running this small label on her own.

Paola started working in jewellery about 4 years ago - Designer, jeweller, marketing, admin, packaging and customer service wizz, 

Paola is originally from Brazil with deep Portuguese roots, she moved to Australia 10 years ago where she met her now husband, Patrick and were blessed with the birth of their first born Ohki. 

Life is a beautiful journey, filled with twists and turns, and one of the most profound changes I have experienced is becoming a mother.  It's a transformative phase that reshaped not only my world but also my identity and that reflected on my brand’s values, and aspirations.

These changes are a symbolic way of embracing the shifts I’ve gone through so far. It's about aligning the external identity with the new dimensions of my life.

This is also a beautiful way to celebrate the evolution of self identity. It's a reminder that we are not just one version of ourselves; we are multifaceted individuals who continue to grow, adapt, and thrive.
